It's tough to try not to feel weak..but it's also tough to let yourself feel.

Concrete Ocean Art Gallery

Last night I had a wonderful time modeling at Concrete Ocean Art Gallery.  These drawings were done by artist Melissa Rose. They were my favorite of the bunch.  She has a website at! I really enjoyed the good vibes and creative space at Concrete Ocean Art Gallery.

Drawings by Students...

I thought these were interesting.  They were done in one hours time.  The top one was done by Scott Boyd. The bottom sketch was done by Megan Opich.

You bring beauty to my world. You make me present.

I think I'm so overly cheerful sometimes I could put a smile on any devils face.

Photos by Russ Rosener

I got to do a photo shoot with Russ Rosener a few weeks back.  I had a really fun time.  You can contact him for your photo needs at

We brainstormed ideas and I said I wanted to be a woman in a cage...portraying a woman that is repressed restricted or confined.  We did the photo shoot at The St. Louis Artist Guild in the basement.  I had a great time working with him.  He found this plexi glass container for me to crawl into and those turned out to be my favorite shots out of the bunch.

Sometimes in life your feeling of restriction or feeling trapped could come from a lot of different things.  It could be your job, your relationship, money problems, or your independence.  Russ said that we even sometimes build our own cages.

I received a psychic reading from my friends mom about a week ago.  She touched on the fact that I like to be called Gypsy...she said because I am free spirited I need to protect myself and only I can protect myself....and I prefer it that way.  It felt like a powerful statement to me.... I want to feel very much in charge of my own life...where I'm going and what I'm doing.

Sometimes your cage can also be your own perception that simply needs to be changed.
